À quoi s’attendre
Tad Soung can be reached without a motorbike. From Tad Lo, walk roughly 4 km to the lower part of the waterfall. From there, a renovated trail climbs between the lower and upper sections with around 80 to 100 metres of ascent, so reasonable fitness is needed. Travellers who prefer not to climb can continue approximately 4 km farther by road to reach the upper access by vehicle. The waterfall itself is free. Motorbike parking is normally 10,000 kip; in low season, when no attendant is present, leave the bike with a nearby family and give them the same amount. The upstream dam controls the flow, so the appearance of the waterfall can change.
