Fandee Island is a place to sleep differently, share a meal beside the lake and add a little adventure to a slow stay in Tad Lo. The open lakeside restaurant serves Lao, Asian and Western dishes in a relaxed setting. In the forest, the adventure course includes 13 ziplines and 10 suspended monkey bridges. The atmosphere remains deliberately informal, with free drinking water and a trust-based way of ordering and recording drinks. The island is within walking distance of Tad Lo village and works equally well for an overnight stay, a meal or an active half-day.
