Fandee Island

Fandee Island is a place to sleep differently, share a meal beside the lake and add a little adventure to a slow stay in Tad Lo. Accommodation ranges from tree houses and lake houses to the transparent Stars Dome and larger family houses, with shared or private bathrooms depending on the option. The open lakeside restaurant serves Lao, Asian and Western dishes in a relaxed setting. In the forest, the adventure course includes 13 ziplines and 10 suspended monkey bridges. The atmosphere remains deliberately informal, with free drinking water and a trust-based way of ordering and recording drinks. The island is within walking distance of Tad Lo village and works equally well for an overnight stay, a meal or an active half-day.
