Staying several nights removes the pressure to carry luggage or change accommodation every day. Much of Tad Lo begins on foot, while distant experiences can be grouped into one well-planned outing.

Tad Soung, coffee visits, ancient forest sites, cultural visits and wider Salavan excursions may require a guide, driver, shared transport or a combination of walking and vehicle access.
One night covers the immediate waterfalls. Two or three nights make it easier to add a local experience or regional excursion without rushing your arrival or departure day.
Confirm your onward transport the day before leaving, especially when connecting toward Pakse, Salavan or another Bolaven stop. Keep enough flexibility for weather and local operating conditions.
