What to expect
Day 1: Depart Tad Lo at 8:30 AM by car (about 30 minutes) to Sonnoan village. Walk for approximately 3 hours through plantations, waterfalls, the Buddha cave and deep jungle. Stop for a local lunch by the waterfall, then trek another 3 hours uphill through mountain scenery. Discover village life and spend the night in a local village. Day 2: Trek for about 3 hours to the mountain summit, visiting a war cave, remarkable old trees, a temple and a viewpoint. Have lunch, then descend for about 3 hours to the village. Return to Tad Lo by car around 5:00 PM. Total group price: 1 person 2,500,000 LAK; 2 people 4,000,000 LAK; 3 people 5,000,000 LAK; 4 people 6,000,000 LAK; 5 people 7,000,000 LAK.
